Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) 4 Wheeler, Genset, HCV, LCV, MCV, Offroad Equipments, Tractors, 3- Wheeler

Available on both metallic and ceramic substrates, the Diesel Oxidation Catalyst (DOC) oxidises the engine out and environmentally harmful gases such as, carbon monoxide (CO), hydrocarbons (HC) and soluble organic fractions (SOF) in to carbon dioxide (CO2) and water (H20). 

At the same time, the engine out nitrogen oxides (NOx) get oxidized to nitrogen dioxide (NO2) and the catalyst placed downstream of DOC reduces to nitrogen (N2). The oxidation of NO to NO2 by DOC plays a critical role in determining the performance of downstream catalyst such as DPF & SCR.

Our state-of-the-art “sol-gel” catalysed DPF washcoat technology is designed to chemically coat Cordierite, Silicon Carbide (SiC) & Aluminium Titanate (AT) based DPFs. The chemistry, which allows oxidation of the accumulated soot from diesel exhaust during both active and passive regeneration applications, provides customized emission solutions as per customer requirements.

Ammonia Slip Catalyst (ASC)

Ecocat’s Ammonia Slip Catalyst (ASC) is a smart catalyst designed to mitigate the emission of additional NO as an SCR function. The other major function of ASC is the selective oxidation of the ammonia slip (NH3) to harmless nitrogen (N2) and water (H2O). This ASC catalyst avoids smell and health risks due to ammonia. In summary, the catalyst combines the key NH3 oxidation function with an SCR function.

Vanadia SCR & Cu-Z-SCR 4 Wheeler, Genset, HCV, LCV, MCV, Offroad Equipments, Tractors

Mainly composed of Vanadium along with Tungsten, our cutting edge V-SCR washcoat technology is based on high NOx conversion, low cost, resistance to sulphur poisoning and ability to reduce hydrocarbon emissions. This V-SCR technology is applicable in passive regeneration scenarios for on-road as well as off-road vehicles. V-SCR catalysts application is limited to high temperature applications due to possible release of vanadium into the atmosphere.

Developed in-house and globally competitive, Ecocat’s Cu zeolite based SCR catalyst technology covers a wide range of temperature applications with high NOx conversion at both ‘fast’ and ‘standard’ SCR conditions and thermal stability. This CuZ-SCR catalyst technology has the advantage of generating low levels N2O emissions.
Ecocat India has robust washcoat technologies and coating process technologies to coat both types of SCR (V-SCR & CuZ-SCR) depending on specific customer requirements.

Ecocat India has advanced washcoat as well as process technologies to coat SCR washcoats on DPF. The key function of SDPF technology is to control both nitrogen oxides (NOx) and particulate matter (PM) emissions in one go. This technology provides customized spacial as well as cost effective emission solutions suited to customer requirements.
